Employees’ Desire to Self-Help

Many employees simply don’t know that their struggles are mental health-related. If they’re asked, “Have you ever felt that you might need to see a mental health professional?” the answer is often “no” despite their (unaddressed!) symptoms.

73% of individuals prefer to manage their mental health on their own

Many people are experiencing clinical levels of worry and anxiety for the first time and are being forced to cope without the support of friends, family, or a medical provider.

Unfortunately, due to stay-at-home orders and increased isolation, the barriers that prevent access to care are more challenging than ever.

The traditional mental health care system has been overwhelmed by the rapid and ongoing transition to telehealth, pushing wait times to be longer than ever for remote care.

The resulting, urgent need is access to evidence-based solutions that empower individuals to self-help.
